1What is MyMedicalCertificate?
MyMedicalCertificate is an online teleconsultation platform where you can consult a registered doctor via Google Meet and receive a valid medical certificate or prescription — typically within 30 minutes for eligible standard cases.
2Are the medical certificates legally valid in India?
Yes. All certificates are issued by doctors registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the National Medical Commission (NMC), and include the doctor's registration number. They are accepted by most employers, educational institutions, and government offices for standard purposes.
3How quickly will I receive my certificate?
For standard certificate types (Sick Leave, Medical Fitness, Work From Home), we target a 30-minute turnaround from payment to certificate delivery — during weekday working hours (9 AM–6 PM IST). For complex cases (Form 1A, Employment), it may take slightly longer.
4How is my certificate delivered?
Your certificate is delivered digitally via WhatsApp as a PDF. You can also download it directly from your patient dashboard at any time.
5What types of medical certificates do you issue?
We issue Sick Leave certificates, Medical Fitness certificates, Form 1A (Driving Licence medical), Fit to Resume certificates, Work From Home medical certificates, Travel medical certificates, Sports/College fitness certificates, and Employment medical certificates.
6What is the process to get a certificate?
1. Select your certificate type and complete the online intake form. 2. Choose an available consultation slot. 3. Complete payment via Razorpay. 4. Attend the Google Meet video consultation with your assigned doctor. 5. Receive your certificate on WhatsApp within 30 minutes.
7Do I need to visit a clinic or hospital?
No. The entire process is online. You consult with the doctor via Google Meet from the comfort of your home or office. Our service is digital-first.
8What happens if the doctor is unable to issue a certificate?
If the doctor determines that a certificate cannot be issued (for example, the condition does not meet clinical criteria), you will receive a recommendation noting the doctor's advice. In such cases, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund — see our Refund Policy.
9What is your refund policy?
If a certificate cannot be issued after consultation, you are eligible for a refund minus a consultation fee. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. See our full Refund Policy for details.
10Is my medical information kept confidential?
Yes. All health information you share is strictly confidential and protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Indian healthcare data protection standards. Your data is never sold or shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
11Can employers verify the certificate?
Yes. Each certificate has a unique reference ID (format: MMC-YYYY-XXXXXX) that can be verified at mymedicalcertificate.in/verify by entering the reference ID and the patient's first name.
12Which doctors conduct the consultations?
All doctors on our platform are MBBS-qualified and registered with MCI/NMC. Their credentials including registration numbers are publicly displayed on our doctor directory. You can view doctor profiles at /doctors.
13What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major payment methods via Razorpay: UPI, net banking, debit cards, credit cards, and major digital wallets (PayTM, PhonePe, Google Pay).
14Can I get a certificate for a family member?
Yes. During the intake form, you can specify that you are booking on behalf of a family member and provide their details. The family member should be present (or available via phone) during the consultation.
15What if I miss my scheduled consultation?
If you miss your slot, you can reschedule through your patient dashboard or by contacting support. A rescheduling fee may apply. If the slot is missed without notice, no refund will be issued for the slot cost.
